Lauriston Girls’ School are holding a very special treadmill challenge on Sunday 21 August
‘Very Special Kids’ are a Melbourne based charity that cares for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. This amazing charity provides ongoing support from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement. Very Special Kids help over 900 families across Victoria and is the only hospice of its kind in the state.
The charity needs over $7 million per year to continue its amazing work and relies heavily on donations. One of our very own amazing clients Sharyn Baddeley is helping to organise a fundraising event to raise money for this very special cause – a 24 hour treadmill challenge held at Lauriston Girls School!
From 9am on Friday 20 August until 9am on Saturday 21 August, the 24 Hour Treadmill Challenge will bring over 1,000 participants together to keep their treadmills in continuous motion for 24 hours to support the 24 hour care Very Special Kids provides for families with sick children. The event will kick off on the morning of the 20th and then carry on throughout the night – with DJs celebrity appearances and neon lights after dark!
