The year is off to a great start at Dux Richmond Hill. We have installed a time lapse camera to capture the construction progress on site. As the building comes to life, we will share these photos, inviting you to experience construction milestones and project updates on a greater level.
The tower crane has been installed and is operational. If you are in Richmond during the evening, you won’t be able to miss the bright green Little logo lighting up the night sky.
Hacer is in the final stages of excavation to the basement car park. This is now 90% complete and concrete pad footings, which form the foundations of the building, are currently being constructed. Installation of services in the basement for storm water drainage has commenced, and pouring of the concrete building structure is due to commence in the coming weeks.
Construction is on track for anticipated completion in early 2018.
The site of Dux Richmond Hill has been a hive of activity since our last update. The building team at Hacer are now fully established on site following their appointment in July.
The heritage art-deco and brick facades have been protected and stabilised for preservation throughout the build program and while Hacer demolished the remainder of the existing buildings.
Piling works for the foundations of the building are nearly complete with excavation of the basement already underway. This will form the lower level basement car parks.
A gantry has been erected along Bridge Road to allow pedestrian access to the footpath and to protect the heritage art-deco façade.
The overhead powerlines along Judd Street have been removed and power is now running underground.
