After meeting Jan Somers—a wellknown property mentor, when she was only 22 years of age, Lynne purchased her first home 20 months later and over the next two and a half decades has had her name on more than 28 property titles and today holds a portfolio of both residential and commercial investments.
“Investing is not for everyone”, says Lynne. “We know this because 66 percent of Australians don’t invest and end up living pension to pension”.
Today Lynne runs a successful property mentoring business where she offers free seminars throughout the year and invites you to join her mentoring programme. It is so affordable at an investment of $500 which includes GST and is tax deductable.
By investing in Lynne’s mentor programme you are guaranteed personalised service. Lynne will meet with you and spend approximately four to six hours with you to create and formulate the basis of the program. During this time she will introduce you to the broker from SOLID Financial Mortgages, who is not only a mortgage specialist (MFAA), but also a qualified accountant of 30 years (FCPA), financial planner (FPA) and business advisor. Together they will examine your assets, liabilities and structure. This includes debts; current mortgages and other commitments such as maintenance; supporting aged parents or caring for children with disabilities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Lynne will have gathered all the information required to compile a recommendation based on service capacity and serviceability provided by our mortgage broker and a view of appropriate properties moving forward which could form a part of your property investment portfolio.
At no time does Lynne or her team provide Financial Advice, although the SOLID group does offer the services of a fully qualified Financial Advisor through SOLID Financial Planning.
The mentor programme is recommended over a period of ten years to help you build your property investment portfolio and the $500 generally remains relatively current for between 18 months to 3 years into the ten year programme. So over the ten years, you may pay up to $1500 to remain current in the programme.
Lynne is not employed by any developers and whilst she is REIV qualified as an Agents Representative, is not a licensed Real Estate Agent. She simply acts as a Property Mentor to ensure that you are correctly structured, are not over committing yourself financially and are selecting the best properties available for capital growth.
You are welcome to become involved in property that Lynne is selecting on behalf of other clients and Lynne also offers a service where she will critique property that you are selecting for your investment portfolio outside of her programme.
